What is Glaucoma?
Glaucoma is a disease that damages your eye’s optic nerve. It's typically due to elevated intra-ocular pressure (i.e. pressure in the eye). It can also be caused by a severe eye infection, blocked blood vessels, injury, or inflammatory conditions of the eye.
Two Main Types of Glaucoma:
Open-angle glaucoma
is most common type of glaucoma which involves fluid not properly draining through the trabecular meshwork.
Angle-closure glaucoma
involves a rapid build of pressure in the eye and drainage due to the angle between the iris and the cornea is too narrow.

Glaucoma Treatment
